As Gigi tells us in the video, "Being stuck on the local affairs desk of the Times is kind of a career ending job.  Unless, of course, you can find a breakthrough story and do some investigative journalism.  When my editor offered me a story about a local sex slave ring, I jumped at the offer.  I was going to go undercover and find out everything I could about it.  He told me it was risky, but I was really intrigued by the assignment,  Maybe a little too intrigued.

I know it sounds crazy, but being chained to the wall and sold into slavery is something I had always dreamed about.  This wasn’t just a story any more, this was a dream come true.
